sketching at Snoopy’s Ice House

Another sesseion with Donna DeLaBriandais and the sketch group; this time at the Redwood Ice Arena in Santa Rosa.  We went on a Saturday to draw the young hockey players.  A great challenge since they were always on the move.  But I love quick gesture sketches, so I found it very enjoyable.  Here are a few of my take aways.

    Hi Devin,
    You caught the turn of the body on its axis!! Snoopy’s Ice House is a familiar old haunt and a great gift to the city from Charles Schultz.
